Besides I think the word is German for "Plowman."
My reasoning stems from
Mota's strong male essence. Let’s be honest, it’s her face [She look's it but Mota is NOT a "Tough Guy," in fact Omahyra Mota is a sensitive and empathetic woman.]. Omahyra Mota has a masculine face and she is well aware of it. In fact her face is the "Mota" Brand, yet as you see in the very first photo. Mota also looks very feminine with make-up.
Mota has modeled for designers such as Alexander McQueen, Fend, Heatherette and Jean Paul Gaultier. Also, she was flown in especially by Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B.'s show during New York's 2005 Fashion Week and had acting roles in X-Men and the Jay-Z video "Change Clothes" together with Naomi Campbell.
The Metamorphosis is a novella by Franz Kafka, first published in 1915. It is often cited as one of the seminal works of short fiction of the 20th century. Elias Canetti described it as "one of the few great and perfect works of the poetic imagination written during this century". The story begins with a traveling salesman, Gregor Samsa, waking to find himself transformed into a vermin.
Elias Wessel is a New York based photographer working with fashion icons, magazines and celebrities such as Betsey Johnson, Stefan Sagmeister, Camila Alves, Omahyra Mota, Naeem Khan.
Oh not great things merely because they were pretty, hell I’m pretty.
These women possessed something intangible in their beauty which belied the tragedy that would befall them.
Each one of these models died tragically and unnecessarily, whether they succumbed to self-destructive behavior or were victimized by circumstances beyond their control, like model: Mariana Brindi whose striking beauty made her a Miss World finalist and a top model that died from septic shock [blood poisoning] that began as a simple urinary tract infection.
Brindi was poised to accomplish great things in the context of philanthropy and humanitarian efforts, achieved through the promise of wealth and fame that her beauty afforded her.
One of the saddest things about these lost lives is how many of them died from self inflicted traumas such as heart failure that was the result of Anorexia Nervosa, a disease they developed and succumbed to while trying to maintain the extreme weight loss required by modeling agencies and was another reason I was never became a top model.
I like food. In fact I love it. I was not about to purge that slice of pepperoni pizza I had consumed.
However many models did exactly that and the strain on their hearts proved to be too much.
How atrocious for modeling agencies to have exploited these young women with such pressure to be skinny that Luisel Ramos went from a healthy body image [right]:
To a tragedy seen in the photo below that was so sensational the modeling industry began to force models to carry certificates proving they are healthy as part of a crackdown on size zero women on the catwalk.
In December 2011 Azza Suleiman attended a large protest near Tahrir Square. As she started to leave, she saw a group of soldiers violently beat and strip another female protestor.
Concerned, Azza and some others tried to help carry the woman away. But the soldiers reacted violently: they beat Azza so severely that she lost consciousness. Even then they did not stop.
Their attack was so vicious it left Azza with a fractured skull and impaired memory.
In this film, made especially for Amnesty International, Vivienne speaks about how important she thinks it is to help other people just as Azza tried to do.
Join Vivienne and help Azza get justice. As part of Amnesty International's Write for Rights campaign they are asking you to send Azza a card to let her know that she is not alone and that people all around the world are looking out for her.

Directed in 1992 by Abel Ferrara The Bad Lieutenant screenplay was written by actress-model and musician Zoë Lund. Lund also played a small role in the film. Zoë Lund had been discovered by Ferrara and had starred in his earlier film, Ms. 45. My curiosity about Zoë Tamerlis-Lund was piqued after I saw her interview in the film: An American Girl: The Self Destruction of Gia Carangi, where she describes the feeling of a heroin high with raw uncompromising honesty.
Zoë had never met supermodel Gia Carangi, however she was working on a biographical screenplay of Carangi's life at the time of her death, and she appeared posthumously in the documentary: American Girl The Self-Destruction of Gia film by J.J. Martin, where she delves in great detail the effects of a Heroin high.
Lisa Ray ties the knotActress Lisa Ray married Jason Dehni at a quiet ceremony in the romantic Napa Valley, California, on Saturday, October 20. The actress had been dating the banker for quite some time now and got engaged to him at the same place in February this year.
Earlier, during her trip to India, she disclosed that her wedding is going to be in Indian style. Since Lisa Ray’s father is a Bengali, her mother is Polish, and her beau Jason’s family is of Lebanese descent, the marriage ceremony was a mix of cultures but there was an Indian touch as well with mehendi and sangeet.

Swedish School De-emphasizes Gender Lines, Avoids Using "Him" or "Her"Written by New York Times. Posted in All Latest News
All children at the Nicolaigarden
school may play with dolls, and
both boys and girls, called “friends,”
At an ocher-color preschool along a lane in Stockholm’s Old Town, the teachers avoid the pronouns “him” and “her,” instead calling their 115 toddlers simply “friends.” Masculine and feminine references are taboo, often replaced by the pronoun “hen,” an artificial and genderless word that most Swedes avoid but is popular in some gay and feminist circles.
In the little library, with its throw pillows where children sit to be read to, there are few classic fairy tales, like “Cinderella” or “Snow White,” with their heavy male and female stereotypes, but there are many stories that deal with single parents, adopted children or same-sex couples.
Girls are not urged to play with toy kitchens, and wooden or Lego blocks are not considered toys for boys. And when boys hurt themselves, teachers are taught to give them every bit as much comforting as they would girls. Everyone gets to play with dolls; most are anatomically correct, and some are also black.
The 2012 presidential election kind of looked rigged from the start.
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted had installed an untested, unapproved software patch for ballot counting just a week before the election. When various groups protested to the courts, Husted responded that the software patch ran outside of the federally-approved voting machinery. Therefore, it did not need testing and did not to be reviewed by the state election commission. The courts went along with him.
A few days later, the international hacker group Anonymous released a video. In it Anonymous warned that they were monitoring all the computers of Fox News analyst and Republican chief fundraiser Karl Rove. Anonymous warned Rove personally to not interfere with the election results.
That made sense. This was because Craig Unger warned Americans about the possibility of electioneering in his book, Boss Rove. That is where Unger argued that Rove’s software hackers hijacked the Ohio election results at 11:14 pm EST in 2004. That was when the Ohio vote-tallying computers all went offline. When they came back up, the vote counters had switched thousands of votes in favor of Senator John Kerry to President George W. Bush’s column.
Then, during election night in 2012, it was suddenly Unger’s story all over again—almost. This time the Ohio, statewide, vote-tallying computers went down at 11:13 pm EST. That was thirteen minutes after voter analyst Karl Rove had begun to throw his 30-minute tantrum live on Fox News. Rove was angry that the Fox analysts had called the Ohio election in favor of President Obama at 11:00 pm EST. During his rant, Rove went into a detailed analysis about how that part of the yet uncounted voter—25%—would throw the election to Romney. And then, bingo—
The Ohio computers went down in the middle of Rove’s rant.
But when they came back up there was no change in the vote. Obama still led. Rove looked even more perplexed. He then argued for another 15 minutes that Romney could still win Ohio. Finally, Rove conceded that perhaps Romney might lose the state.
Then, two days after the 2012 election, Anonymous released another video. The hackers explained that they had inserted a firewall into Secretary of State Husted’s software patch.
That had stopped the Ohio election counters from using it. The hackers said that they had analyzed the patch and that it would have flip-flopped the vote in the same counties that Karl Rove, of Fox, had argued would eventually swing the Ohio election to Romney.
Interesting, on election night, when the Ohio computers came back online, the vote tallying went on without the patch, and Obama won.
This whole thing might mean that the patch should be subpoenaed into court and examined for its potential to rig an election—especially since no one dared to complain that it did not work. And the counting kept on going, anyway, unquestioned. But that’s not all.

That’s Right I Wrote: GLOATING Not “Goating” You Must Understand that with the direction the Republican Party is going it’s inevitable that the Republican party will choose run Fred Phelps for Prez in 2016.
It may also come to pass that they will be unable to clear their heads of the din of FOX, Rush, Beck, Palin, Savage etc. and be unable to change.
There’s an old adage that states the definition of insanity is doing the same disastrous thing over and over but expecting different results.

John Schnatter, the president and CEO of Papa John's Pizza, has a net worth of about $350 million and was a Romney supporter who held secret fund-raisers on his sprawling mansion grounds.
He’s also a greedy jerk who, to get around paying for Obama’s Affordable Care Act, plans on cutting all his employee’s hours to below the mandated threshold so he doesn’t have to pay for it -- because it would cost him too much money.
How much money would it cost him exactly? About 14 cents per pizza.
Yes, 14 cents per pizza is the cost of health care for his employees so they can remain healthy and be more productive. This is nothing more than corporate greed at its worst.
And, unfortunately, Papa John’s is not alone. Applebee’s, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster have all jumped on this bus. Threatening to freeze full hiring and/or reduce employees to skirt the ACA regulations.
Now, bear in mind, that Papa John’s, Applebee’s, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster are not small businesses. Each of these companies make millions in profits each year and its workforce is amongst the lowest paid and hardest working in the country. And they care so little about the health and welfare of their employees that they would rather cut their already few low-paying hours than make sure that they are taken care of.
Washington Post: “Senate Democrats… actually expanded their Senate majority — something basically nobody would have guessed even a year ago.”
T — You’ve never let up. You refused to quit. And you just did the unthinkable—you not only saved the Senate from a Republican takeover, you increased the Democratic majority!
From the bottom of my heart—thank you.
Many said we had no chance to keep the Senate, let alone gain seats. But you refused to let Karl Rove bury Democratic Senate candidates with money. And we did not only what many said was unthinkable— we did what most said was impossible.
We defied the odds and gained two Democratic Senate seats (take a look at the results below):
You elected a record number of women candidates. You elected our first openly gay Senator. You elected our first Asian American female Senator. You defeated Todd “legitimate rape” Akin and Richard “God intended pregnancy from rape” Mourdock.
If Karl Rove thought that millions of progressives couldn’t stand up to a handful of billionaires—you proved him so wrong. I am so proud. You did it.
Words can’t express how grateful I am. Thank you.

|Voters' Decide! 4 MORE Years For Pres Obama|
Oh Great now I have to hear more, they need to change the word "boy" to "Woman or girl":
November 6, 2012. I had nauseously spent the majority of the evening watching the Presidential election returns, working myself up into a nerve wracked frenzy.

Seems like more of a media created phenomenon. Maybe that's the reason that Obama intentionally lost the first debate, to give Mitt a fighting chance. I am a conspiracy theorist. I don't know what Barack was thinking or what he was told to do in the first debate, but i bet he didn't think Hurricane Sandy would also play a role.
Also someone need to tell politicians to stop saying that your children will be left with a debt.
Have YOU paid off the debt that the U.S. had when you were a child? No you haven't and the children today will not be children forever so it's not like infants and toddlers will be forced to pay off anything.
This runner survived with one flag.
Side note. Watched some of the other zombie runs. They didn't get grass to run on there. We didn't need no stinkin' traction...sissies...
There were more Zombies and they were more aggressive [Relatively speaking of course].
I don’t watch the television series Revolution because I live it, regularly. One of the downsides of living in an area that has many beautiful tree lined streets is that every time there is a severe storm, the inevitability that power will be interrupted increases exponentially and I am forced into a bucolic existence.
Suffice it to say that this was a particularly Bad OUTTAGE and as a result I did some structural damage. I was without any power since Monday.
No Electricity, meant No Heat, No Hot Water, No TV No Internet all refrigerated food spoiled. I also have to purchase a new phone to replace the one that broke. Sheesh.
Mass transportation was shut down. It was ridiculous.
On the bright side, my gear to survive a Zombie apocalypse was useful and when the power was restored my internet was unaffected.
